NomPal

Terms of Use

Last updated October 17, 2026

About these Terms

These Terms apply to the NomPal app for iPhone and Android (the “App”), provided by onechunk (“we”). Please read them before using the App. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

What the App does

NomPal estimates the calories and nutrients in food and drink from photos and helps you log them against daily goals. It’s a personal tool. Most features require a NomPal Pro subscription.

NomPal is not medical advice

Estimates come from AI and can be wrong. Portion size, hidden ingredients, and foods that look alike can throw them off, so check them and fix them when they’re off.

NomPal doesn’t diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it doesn’t replace a doctor or registered dietitian. Talk to a professional before changing how you eat if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, have diabetes or another medical condition, or take medication. Don’t rely on the App to tell you whether a food is safe for an allergy.

Using the App

Use the App lawfully and don’t interfere with how it works. Don’t reverse engineer it, send automated requests to our server, or get around the subscription or the daily limit. On iPhone, your license to the App is subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless a different agreement is provided through the App Store.

Your content

Your photos, notes, and logs are yours. They stay on your phone, except the photos and notes you send for analysis, which you let us and our providers process only to give you the estimate. Our Privacy Policy explains how. The App’s design, code, and branding belong to onechunk.

Availability and responsibility

We work to keep the App working, but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and photo analysis may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, the App is provided as is and as available, and we aren’t responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses from its use.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for NomPal in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that can’t legally be limited.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the App changes. The latest version and its date will be on this page. Changes don’t take away rights you have under applicable law.
